Recently, the Chinese Embassy in Central Africa visited the China Africa Honey House to conduct on-site inspections of the local honey production and operation situation, and exchanged ideas with officials from institutions responsible for promoting the export of China Africa characteristic agricultural products to China and deepening cultural exchanges between the two countries.

Entering the Central African Honey House, bottles of brightly colored honey are neatly displayed, emitting a strong natural aroma.

A jar of honey has also become a link between Chinese and African culinary cultures. Coinciding with the 2026 China Africa Cultural Exchange Year, the two sides engaged in lively exchanges on topics such as honey consumption habits and traditional health concepts. From daily consumption to cooking and seasoning, from nutritional nourishment to traditional medicine, both peoples attach great importance to the natural nutritional value of honey and its role in diet and health care. The embassy comrades stated that although honey is small, it carries the common pursuit of healthy living by the people of both countries. We look forward to using characteristic agricultural products as a medium to further enhance the understanding of each other's food culture and lifestyle habits between the two peoples, so that friendship can take root and sprout in more daily exchanges.Editor/Gong Ziwei
