From October 9 to 10, 2026, the 2026 Thai Youth the Belt and Road Exchange Mission was successfully held. The event is jointly organized by the Chinese Embassy in Thailand and the Thai Chinese Teachers Association, with over 90 teachers and students from 7 schools in Thailand participating.

Ambassador Zhang Jianwei introduced the fruitful achievements of the the Belt and Road jointly built by China and Thailand at the launching ceremony, and encouraged the young people to be the successors of the the Belt and Road cooperation, the new force of building a community of shared future between China and Thailand, and the inheritors of China Thailand friendship. Chairman Luo Tieying of the Chinese Teachers Association stated that the event will serve as an opportunity to encourage young people to pass on the torch of the Sino Thai family.

During the event, the members watched the movie "A Love Letter to Grandma", experienced traditional Chinese culture, and visited enterprises in Thailand such as Qiaqia Food and Taiyue Technology. Everyone said that the event enriched the understanding of China Thailand mutually beneficial economic and trade cooperation and deep cultural integration, deepened the recognition of high-quality joint construction of the the Belt and Road, and was willing to contribute to the inheritance of China Thailand friendship.Editor/Gong Ziwei
