Not long ago, a batch of large displacement off-road motorcycles in Taizhou, Zhejiang completed the final inspection before shipment and will soon be sent to Uzbekistan; In the Jinhua workshop, electric and pneumatic tools are being packed and ready for shipment. In Central Asia, there are many grasslands, mountains, and deserts. Buyers value the passability and durability of vehicles, and local infrastructure upgrades and livelihood renovations have also made hardware tools popular. These orders spanning thousands of kilometers will converge at the Tashkent International Exhibition Center next week.

New business opportunities in the exhibition hall

The China Central Asia (Uzbekistan) 2026 Trade Fair will be held here from October 14th to 16th, 2026. The exhibition is hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and is the second one after the first one in 2025. 2026 is the year of high-quality development of China Central Asia cooperation. Leading manufacturers, exporters, importers, and distributors from both countries appeared on the same stage, showcasing modern goods and services, establishing long-term partnerships, and expanding direct business contacts. The opening ceremony will be held in Tashkent on the 14th, during which multiple business matchmaking events will also be arranged. Featured products from Kazakhstan, as well as the Syr Darya and Amu Darya river basins, will be displayed on the booth, and companies from Amu Darya and other regions have expressed their intention to participate. The exhibition area has not been announced yet. The organizer stated that they will do their best to meet the needs of enterprises and learn from experiences such as the Milan International Pharmaceutical Raw Materials Exhibition to enhance their professional level. Industry insider Sevara Maksudova pointed out that such exhibitions help companies gain a deeper understanding of each other's market needs.

The gold content of trade figures

According to data from the Uzbekistan National Statistical Committee, the bilateral trade volume between China and Uzbekistan reached 11.3 billion US dollars from January to July, of which 9.6 billion US dollars were imported from China and about 1.7 billion US dollars were exported to China. China continues to maintain its position as the largest foreign trade partner of Uzbekistan. Analysts believe that this reflects the deep integration of regional supply chains. Expanding to the entire Central Asia, by 2025, the trade volume of goods between China and the five Central Asian countries will reach 106.3 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 12%, surpassing 100 billion US dollars for the first time, and China will become the largest trading partner of Central Asian countries for the first time. The channel is also speeding up: on August 1st, the mutual recognition arrangement between certified operators of China Ukraine Customs was implemented, and the clearance time for advanced certified enterprises was reduced by more than 30%.

From buying and selling to running a factory together

Uzbekistan is more concerned about turning capital into production capacity. The total investment in the country reached 43.1 billion US dollars, of which 38.2 billion US dollars were foreign direct investment. The priority direction of reform is not only to attract capital, but also to establish high-tech manufacturing enterprises that focus on high value-added goods. Under these conditions, this exhibition is regarded as an effective and practical tool to transform trade relations into long-term industrial and investment cooperation, and to assist enterprises from both countries in developing new joint production projects. After the opening of the China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan Railway, the freight transportation time will be shortened by about 7 days, and the regional trade potential will be further activated; From automobile assembly, green energy to water-saving irrigation, industrial chain cooperation is extending towards deeper levels.

Next, the organizer is expected to announce more lists of participating companies and supporting activity arrangements. The specific schedule is tentative and still needs final review. The actual effectiveness depends on the participation of companies and subsequent coordination.Editor/Yang Meiling
