The construction site of Mengjin District Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone in Luoyang City is bustling with activity. Technicians carefully check parameters and identify equipment hazards to ensure construction quality and efficiency through precise debugging. Currently, 99.62% of the equipment installation for the hydrocracking unit has been completed, 92.54% of the pipeline installation has been completed, and all foundation engineering has been completed. The UPS power supply and GDS gas detection system have been successfully put into use, marking the transition of the project from equipment installation to instrument system commissioning. The Henan Refining and Chemical Million ton Ethylene Project is a key project for petrochemical transformation in Henan Province, located in Mengjin Advanced Manufacturing Development Zone with a total investment of 27.8 billion yuan. The project is based on the raw materials of Luoyang Petrochemical, and will build 1 million tons/year of ethylene and multiple supporting chemical plants.

The project plan is to have the substation powered on in September 2026, with mechanical completion in December and commissioning in April 2027. The refining supporting project is responsible for the supply of ethylene raw materials. The 2.2 million tons/year hydrocracking unit can convert heavy oil to produce light raw materials and aviation kerosene, and is the core unit of refining and chemical integration.
