On the morning of October 28, 2026, outside the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, there was still a chill from the southern hemisphere, and the LONGI booth was already crowded with people. In two days, new product launches, authoritative certification, and signing handshakes were staged here one after another, and a significant report card was written here.
New product launch in Melbourne
On the opening day, LONGI released two new generation efficient components, including Hi MO 9 Prime. The Hi-MO 9 is built on HPBC 2.0 technology, with a maximum power of 680W and a photoelectric conversion efficiency of 25.17%. With the same land area and array layout, it can increase the total installed capacity by 4.62%; In the first year, the attenuation is only 1%, followed by a linear attenuation of 0.35%, and in the 30th year, the power retention rate is 88.9%. Thanks to the BC battery structure, the power loss of a single battery when obstructed can be reduced by more than 70% compared to conventional components, making it capable of handling high temperatures, strong ultraviolet radiation, and sandstorms in Australia with ease. David McElrea, CEO of the Australian Smart Energy Council, attended and delivered a speech. At the same time, Hi-MO 9 and LONGiBank 3.0 energy storage systems have both passed T Ü V Rheinland certification, obtaining authoritative endorsement for entering one of the world's most challenging markets.

This time, LONGI is no longer just bringing components. LONGi ONE full stack energy storage system made its debut in Australia, featuring products such as OneMatrix, LONGiBank 3.0, Hi MO One Pro, OneNexus M5, and H2, covering utility level, industrial and commercial, and off grid microgrid scenarios; LONGi BLOCK mobile energy station integrates internal components, brackets, inverters, and distribution equipment without the need for civil engineering. It generates electricity on site and can be deployed within a few hours, which perfectly fits the pain points of Australia's vast land, sparse population, and high operation and maintenance costs. There are also achievements in implementation: the Lunio Energy energy storage project located in Strathalbyn, South Australia, was connected to the grid in September 2026, using four sets of LONGiBank 2.0 systems with a total scale of 5MW/20MWh, and entered the Australian national electricity market for trading. Hi MO X10 anti dust components, lightweight components, and EcoLife household components are also introduced simultaneously, covering industrial and commercial roofs and distributed household use.

2GW large order landing
During the exhibition, LONGI signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Raystech, the exclusive distribution partner in Australia. The cooperation between the two parties has expanded from traditional component distribution to emerging businesses such as power plant development and AIDC (Artificial Intelligence Data Center) comprehensive energy solutions. The cooperation model has been upgraded from simple trade to joint development of large-scale energy projects, and a total of 2GW of component delivery targets have been set for 2027 to 2029. Targeting the New Zealand market, LONGI has signed strategic distribution cooperation memorandums with Corys Electrical and Rise Energy to further improve its local channel network. The 2026 Australia New Zealand Retailer Excellence Awards, held simultaneously, includes three categories of awards: excellent cooperation, excellent marketing promotion, and excellent business growth, to recognize the contributions of local retailers and installers.keywords:New energy information network
From topping the SolarQuotes photovoltaic module brand list in July 2025 to now holding a 2GW long-term contract, LONGI's logic in Oceania is clear: based on technology, reliable clearance, and rooted in channels, turning one-time orders into long-term business.Editor/Yang Meiling
