The incoming raw water pipe project of Yingbin Water Plant, which has started construction this time, is a supporting project of Yingbin Water Plant. After the water plant and raw water pipe project are connected, it will further improve people's livelihoods and promote economic and social development, providing residents in Chuansha New Town, Zhuqiao Town, Zhangjiang Town, Tang Town, and Heqing Town in Pudong New Area with higher quality and better taste drinking water.

The project mainly involves the construction of two 8.3-kilometer 1400mm steel pipes, and the simultaneous implementation of auxiliary projects such as drainage and exhaust, and comprehensive automation monitoring of pipelines. Choose a non excavation laying technology scheme combining top pipe and shield tunneling, reduce the number of construction wells, and minimize the impact on residents, transportation, environment, and adjacent facilities. After the completion of the project, 200000 cubic meters of raw water from Qingcaosha will be transported to the Yingbin Water Plant per day. Combined with the previous operation of the Yingbin Water Plant (Phase I) project, the total designed scale will reach 400000 cubic meters per day. The water supply safety guarantee capacity of the northern area of Pudong New Area will be further improved, the layout of the water supply system will be more perfect, meeting the people's demand for high-quality drinking water, and injecting strong impetus to achieve full coverage of deep treatment processes in the city's water plants by the end of 2024.
