Recently, the Wu'an Xinfeng Group held a groundbreaking ceremony for the preparation of environmentally friendly ecological wall and floor tiles using steel slag, tailings, and coal gangue.

The total investment of this project is 6.6 billion yuan, using solid waste such as steel slag, tailings, and coal gangue as raw materials. It mainly produces various green ecological products such as imitation stone, wall and floor tiles, landscape tiles, ceramic particles, etc. It is the world's largest environmentally friendly ecological ceramic preparation project.

The project comprehensively utilizes about 10 million tons of solid waste such as steel slag, tailings sand, coal gangue, and construction waste soil annually. After completion, the project can achieve operating income of 15 billion yuan, profit and tax of 3 billion yuan, and solve 3500 employment opportunities.

The company invested 71.8506 million yuan to implement a hazardous waste disposal project, disposing of 100000 tons of various hazardous waste annually, including 60000 tons of solid hazardous waste, 25000 tons of semi-solid hazardous waste, and 15000 tons of liquid hazardous waste. An investment of 270 million yuan will be made to implement a comprehensive utilization project for construction waste, which can dispose of 2 million tons of waste annually, promoting the construction of a "waste free city" in Wu'an.
