On June 27, 2024, with the sound of salutes, the Yulong area of Qingshuihe Headquarters New City ushered in a historic moment. The Yulong landfill environmental restoration project officially kicked off. The launch of this project marks that Luohu has taken a solid step on the road of practicing the concept of green development and promoting urban renewal and industrial upgrading.
Qingshuihe Headquarters New City, as an important area of Luohu's northern gateway, carries the city government's high hopes for the digital economy headquarters economic agglomeration area. In recent years, the area has risen at an astonishing speed, not only attracting the entry of central enterprises such as China Overseas and China Resources Cement, but also gathering many billion-level headquarters enterprises such as Hongxiang New Materials and Zhongjin Lingnan, becoming the core engine of Luohu's future economic growth.
And the Yulong area, with its unique ecological environment, has become a shining pearl in the Qingshuihe Headquarters New City. However, the Yulong landfill on the north side was once a legacy of urban development, and its environmental restoration is imminent. This project is not only the largest landfill excavation and relocation project in the country, but also an important practice for Luohu to explore a new model of environmental governance + development and construction.
The project has four most characteristics: the most central area, the largest volume, the largest amount, and the highest standard. The project is located in the core area of Qingshuihe Headquarters New City, close to the transportation hub. Its large scale and huge investment have set records for similar projects in China. At the same time, the project invited a top team of experts in China, using the most advanced technical means, and is committed to creating a benchmark for environmental restoration projects in super-large urban central areas.Editor/Cheng Ting
