On October 14, 2024, the 100,000 kW wind power project of Luyang Town, Jingtai County, Huajing Jianghe County, undertaken by the third company of the Eighth Bureau of China Construction Corporation, officially started in Luyang Town, Jingtai County, Gansu Province. The project is located at an altitude of about 1700-2200 meters in the mountains, planning to install 13 7700kW wind turbines, the total installed capacity of 100MW, and supporting the construction of 110KV booster station and ancillary facilities.

The impeller diameter of the wind turbine is 221 meters, the sweeping area is equivalent to 4.6 standard football fields, and it is expected to save 34,000 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 87,800 tons and sulfur dioxide emissions by 22.2 tons per year.

After the completion of the project, it will promote the construction of a new regional power system, become an important scenic power base in Jingtai, Gansu Province, promote green and low-carbon energy reform, and help local economic development and rural revitalization.Editor/Zhang Liyuan
