It has successfully won the civil construction task of Bid Section II of the 2 × 450 MW gas turbine combined cycle power plant project in Guogong Province, Cambodia, and the Sergeli 175 MW/350 MWh energy storage power plant project in Uzbekistan, adding a significant stroke to the "the Belt and Road" energy cooperation.

Cambodia Province Project

The 2 × 450 MW gas turbine combined cycle power plant project in Cambodia's Guogong Province is of great significance as it is the country's first liquefied natural gas power plant. The project plans to construct two F-class gas turbine combined cycle generator units with a total installed capacity of up to 900 megawatts. Sichuan Electric Power Construction has performed outstandingly in this project. After successfully winning the bid for the civil construction of the first section, it has once again won the bid for the civil construction task of the second section with excellent solutions and strength. It continues to deeply participate in the construction of this energy key project in Cambodia, contributing to the stability of energy supply and optimization of energy structure in Cambodia.

Uzbekistan project

The Sergeli 175 MW/350 MWh energy storage power plant project in Uzbekistan is also highly anticipated. This project is not only under construction in Central Asia, but also the largest single electrochemical energy storage project undertaken by Sichuan Electric Power Construction Overseas. The project is located on the outskirts of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
