In recent years, CGGC has comprehensively promoted the "Artificial Intelligence+Three Year Special Action" and has successfully developed and launched more than 60 AI intelligent application modules, covering various scenarios such as smart office, intelligent equipment application, digital construction, and intelligent quality inspection, injecting digital and intelligent core engines into the traditional engineering construction industry.
Realize AI fully automatic compaction construction
Located at the western end of the Tianshan Mountains and situated on the banks of the Kumarak River in the Wensu Grand Canyon, the Dashixia Water Conservancy Hub Project in Xinjiang stands tall and majestic. This dam has a total height of 247 meters, equivalent to the height of an 80 story high-rise building, and is scheduled to be put into operation in June 2026.

This project relies on multiple cutting-edge hard core technologies to achieve breakthroughs in intelligent construction. The project fully utilizes CGGC's independently developed intelligent compaction system, integrating Beidou positioning technology, multi-dimensional perception equipment, and intelligent computing algorithms. The system can be continuously controlled without manual intervention, autonomously planning construction routes, dynamically adjusting operation parameters, and monitoring construction quality 24/7. It can identify subtle issues of missed rolling in seconds and automatically issue warnings. Relying on this intelligent system, the uniform pass rate of dam compaction construction exceeds 98%, and the overall construction efficiency is improved by 20%.

In the granite mining project for construction in Daling, Hainan, the traditional extensive manual construction mode has been completely reformed. The project is equipped with machine vision and cloud scheduling system, matched with unmanned mining card equipment, which can automatically dispatch operation tasks, plan the optimal passage route, and independently complete the unmanned operation of loading, transportation, and unloading throughout the entire process. The effective operation time of the mine has been increased by 12.5%, greatly improving the level of intelligent and efficient mining.
In addition to water conservancy dams and mining operations, artificial intelligence technology has been widely implemented on various construction sites. Projects such as the Yinjiang Buhan and Hexiang Expressway have put into use smart steel bar processing plants, achieving a halving of manpower and a reduction of 180 yuan per ton of steel bar processing costs. The steel bar loss rate is strictly controlled between 0.5% and 1%. The Neisui Expressway and Bawan Expressway projects have adopted unmanned aerial vehicle intelligent inspection, which can automatically identify more than ten types of hidden dangers such as slope cracks and road faults. The inspection efficiency has been doubled, and the cost of manual inspection has been directly reduced by 50%. The impressive achievements in digitalization cannot be achieved without sustained and sufficient investment of funds. As of now, CGGC headquarters and its subordinate units have invested a total of 183 million yuan in the field of artificial intelligence+, ranking among the top central enterprises in terms of AI research and development investment intensity, reaching more than twice the average level of similar central enterprises.

Building an AI innovation industry ecosystem
The enterprise not only insists on investing heavily in research and development, but also has established a comprehensive intelligent technology research and development system. CGGC has established a dedicated AI innovation research and development team of 15 people, focusing on core technology research and development such as algorithm development, data governance, and scenario implementation, providing professional technical support for intelligent transformation. To meet the demand for high-intensity and high computing power research and development, enterprises have built a 20P high-performance computing platform, which can achieve a computing power of 200 billion times per second. The platform is equipped with 17 mainstream models such as Deep Search and Qianwen, and is fully open for free internally. It has provided over 10 billion intelligent keyword services, empowering various business sectors to upgrade intelligently in all aspects. At the same time, the enterprise deepens the integration of industry, university and research, and cooperates with many State Key Laboratory, such as the National Digital Construction Technology Innovation Center and the intelligent construction and operation and maintenance of water conservancy projects, to jointly build multiple innovation platforms, such as the China Ethiopia the Belt and Road Civil Engineering Green Construction and Intelligent Operation and Maintenance Joint Laboratory, and the Water Resources and Hydropower Intelligent Construction Laboratory, to continuously consolidate the strength of intelligent algorithm research and development.

In addition, CGGC has deepened strategic cooperation with leading intelligent equipment companies in the industry such as SANY, CREG, CRCC, SUNWARD, etc., and collaborated to build a new industrial format for intelligent construction. Currently, CGGC relies on the CECH Rongguangda model system, focusing on the two core areas of construction and electricity, to promote automatic data collection and intelligent analysis and judgment of engineering safety, construction quality, construction progress, etc., and continuously deepen scenario based intelligent applications. Facing the development stage of the 15th Five Year Plan, Gezhouba Group will continue to increase investment in artificial intelligence research and development, and make intelligent upgrading a core strategic investment for enterprise transformation and upgrading. Enterprises will establish a special investment mechanism for AI research and development, ensuring that the annual increase in research and development investment is not less than 20%, with a focus on the three core areas of intelligent production, lean management, and intelligent decision-making. In the future, we will continue to focus on hardware upgrades, data improvement, and intelligent agent iteration.
