Chinese guests have arrived from afar along the Suez Canal in Egypt. The meeting between the high-level delegation from Nanjing and the General Administration of the Suez Canal Economic Zone in Egypt, SCZONE, was not a simple courtesy visit, but a deep binding between China's Yangtze River Delta intelligent manufacturing power and the core hub of North Africa. Both sides attempted to piece together a new industrial cooperation puzzle on the banks of the Red Sea.

Directly targeting high added value

At the negotiating table, both sides' attention is no longer limited to traditional infrastructure and textiles. New energy, automobile manufacturing and components, and healthcare - these three recognized high value-added tracks have become the core of this negotiation. Relying on the mature port linkage and one-stop approval advantages of SCZONE, Nanjing enterprises are not only going global, but also building a complete closed loop from industrial manufacturing to logistics ecology in Egypt.

Connecting Europe, Asia, and Africa

For Nanjing, the value of SCZONE goes far beyond the Egyptian market alone. This is the crossroads connecting the three continents of Europe, Asia, and Africa. With the complete infrastructure and logistics network of this economic zone, Nanjing's high-quality production capacity will use Egypt as a springboard to directly radiate to the Middle East and the vast African continent, upgrading the original single export trade to deep penetration into the global market. Reshaping the Industrial Landscape

This is a typical two-way rush. China has brought urgently needed emerging industrial capacity and technology to help Egypt optimize its industrial structure and improve its high-end manufacturing facilities; The Egyptian side provides highly attractive location advantages and policy dividends. With the upgrading of China Egypt economic and trade from traditional fields to high-precision, the Suez Canal Economic Zone is accelerating its transformation into a bridgehead for China's high-end manufacturing to go global.Editor/Gao Xue
