The coordinated promotion of the entire chain of production, storage, and transportation is injecting new impetus into the dual carbon goal.

7000 kilometer hydrogen transmission pipeline network connects cross regional circulation bottlenecks

The long-distance transportation problem that has plagued the hydrogen energy industry for many years is gradually being resolved with the acceleration of pipeline construction. The total length of hydrogen transmission pipelines that have made substantial progress domestically has exceeded 7000 kilometers, and cross provincial backbone projects such as the West East Hydrogen Transmission have been gradually promoted. The low-cost green hydrogen produced by the western wind and solar power base can be directly transported to the eastern industrial load center through dedicated pipelines.

The green hydrogen production capacity at the production end is also steadily being released, and multiple integrated wind solar hydrogen production projects in the northwest have been put into operation one after another. The abandoned wind and solar resources that were difficult to consume in the past are now directly converted into green hydrogen that can be stored for a long time. The application scenario is no longer limited to the transportation field. Hydrogen powered heavy-duty trucks are being put into mass operation in mining areas and on mainline logistics lines, and green hydrogen is gradually entering the carbon reduction production processes of chemical and metallurgical industries.
