When the wind in the Gobi stops in the patterns of retired blades, and when the power battery takes off its mission to drive the wheels, they have not reached the end. In the factories of Hami and Zhengzhou, a magic of rebirth is unfolding - the former pioneer of new energy is being given a new identity in engineering components, 3D consumables, and even urban sculptures, continuing the closed-loop legend of green industry.

At the Hami Gobi wind power site in Xinjiang, a batch of wind turbine blades over 60 meters long completed their service life, were cut and transported to the local high-tech zone circular economy industrial park for reuse. These large blades are processed into engineering components, and the remaining waste is pressed into industrial pallets at high temperatures. The finished product is moisture-proof, corrosion-resistant, and has a long service life, and can be widely used in municipal and outdoor engineering. Zhang Lei, Vice President of Huadian Hami Environmental Protection Technology, introduced that recycled materials are suitable for logistics heavy-duty transportation, and finely processed raw materials can also be made into 3D printing consumables, urban sculptures, and cultural and creative products.

The waste power batteries, which belong to the new energy and new three types, have also embarked on a unique path of recycling. The Zhengzhou Airport factory in Henan Province received over 60 tons of scrapped lithium batteries from two vehicles. Zhang Riyin, the person in charge of green resource regeneration at Zhengzhou Jerry, stated that waste lithium batteries are not waste, but contain high-value metals such as copper, aluminum, and nickel cobalt manganese lithium. The battery components are complex, and traditional disassembly requires sufficient discharge. Rough crushing can pose safety and environmental hazards. The enterprise's self-developed patented equipment is equipped with six layers of safety protection, which can directly dismantle waste batteries with electricity, eliminating the discharge process. During the 15th Five Year Plan period, new energy equipment such as wind power, photovoltaics, and power batteries in China will experience a concentrated wave of scrapping. Various regions rely on technological innovation to overcome the difficulties in solid waste recycling and disposal, and continue to build a complete circular industry chain of standardized recycling and intelligent dismantling.Editor/Gong Ziwei
