At the 32nd Lanzhou International Fair, Wuwei, as one of the four major theme cities, showcased its latest achievements in land and port construction. The ancient Silk Road node, relying on the normalized operation of the Tianma train, has rapidly grown into a core logistics hub connecting Europe, Asia, and the land and sea.
The international logistics network is fully formed
As one of the three key land ports in Gansu, Wuwei International Land Port is located at the core node of the intersection of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Western Land Sea New Corridor. It has built two centers, two ports, and one station outward oriented platform, and has operated a total of 273 international trains.

At present, 11 freight routes have been opened between China, Europe, China, and Russia, covering 22 countries and 46 cities in Central Asia and Europe. It can provide full chain door-to-door international logistics services, with direct access to the Eurasian hinterland to the west, eastern coastal ports to the east, and western land sea new channels to the south. The logistics pattern of multi-directional linkage has been formed.
Continuous release of hub value
Relying on the surplus railway capacity to build a logistics backbone, Wuwei Land Port is rapidly shifting from a single cargo to industrial agglomeration and upgrading. This is the first designated regulatory site for imported meat in Gansu, with 20 standardized cold storage facilities with a total storage capacity of 3400 tons. The annual import capacity of meat can reach 130000 tons, and regular meat trade has been established with countries such as Belarus and Argentina. Keywords: Land Port Logistics, Core Logistics Hub
