At the foot of the Tianshan Mountains, Almaty has quietly built a digital bridge spanning Europe and Asia. IBI is located in Central Asia. It injects the computing power of industrial Internet into the ancient business road, and uses an ecological hub covering six fields to make Chinese production capacity and Kazakhstan's resources accurately fit on the digital silk road, which creates a new wave of cross-border trade.

On July 13, 2026, Beijing IBI, the head platform of China's B2B industrial e-commerce and industrial Internet, announced that the IBI Kazakhstan digital economy headquarters project invested, constructed and operated by it was officially launched in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The project focuses on the regional market of Central Asia, focusing on cross-border digital trade, supply chain supporting services and industrial Internet enabling along the the Belt and Road, and building a regional digital industrial service hub. At the launch ceremony, the project team, together with local and international cooperative enterprises in Kazakhstan, signed 20 cooperation agreements, covering various fields such as non-ferrous metals, modern agriculture, energy and mineral resources, equipment manufacturing, cross-border logistics, financial services, daily chemical and light industry, and electronic information.

Guolian Corporation Reshaps the Central Asian Commercial Road

Aidar Abidabekov, Deputy Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, stated at the ceremony that Kazakhstan is making every effort to improve its digital infrastructure, continuously optimize its business environment, and consolidate its core position as a Eurasian transportation hub and cross sea transportation corridor. Liu Yongzong, member of the Standing Committee of the Fengtai District Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee, pointed out that in the context of the continuous deepening of the "the Belt and Road" cooperation and the continuous warming of the China Kazakhstan comprehensive strategic partnership, the digital economy has become the core focus and new growth point for industrial docking and win-win economic and trade between the two countries.

Two way channel activates trillion dollar blue ocean

IBI founder and CEO Qian Xiaojun introduced that the company will use the Kazakhstan Digital Economy Headquarters as the core pivot of its Central Asia strategy, and comprehensively implement cross-border industry comprehensive services. The project will establish a two-way communication and cooperation channel, which will not only help Kazakhstan accurately connect its high-quality local resources and characteristic industries with the Chinese market, but also promote the landing of China's advantageous production capacity and technology industries in Kazakhstan, continuously activate the vitality of bilateral trade circulation, cross-border logistics, and industrial investment, and consolidate the foundation of China Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation.
