The giant refining facility on the Gobi Desert has undergone a new transformation, and the production mode that relied on personnel closely monitoring has become a thing of the past. The China Energy Ningxia Coal 4 million ton coal to oil project has completed intelligent transformation and is officially put into operation. It relies on digital technology to reconstruct the production system and explore new paths for safe and efficient development of the coal chemical industry.

Industrial Brain Empowerment Upgrade

This intelligent transformation is not just about adding smart devices, but about building an industrial brain to reconstruct the entire operational logic. The project relies on the innovative policies of Ningdong Base, deploys an advanced alarm management system, and parses massive signals from 28 control systems throughout the factory in milliseconds, relying on big data algorithms to eliminate false alarms and omissions. Integrating autonomous AI visual recognition and infrared perception devices, covering 48 high-risk work scenarios, quickly predicting various hidden dangers such as pipeline leaks and equipment overheating, and promoting the shift of safety management from passive disposal to active prevention and control.

Intelligent production improves quality and efficiency

The core device of the project realizes industrial autonomous driving, with a self-control rate of 99.8%, and supports long-term black screen unmanned operation. The unmanned aerial vehicle inspection robot collaborates with unmanned forklifts to build an integrated intelligent operation system for the air and ground. After the transformation, the process stability rate exceeded 99.5%, the operating cost was reduced by 10%, and the overall labor productivity increased by 51%. This project forms a replicable and promotable Ningdong plan. In the future, the Ningdong base will continue to focus on core technologies such as industrial large-scale models and autonomous controllable control systems, build a computing power sharing platform, and continuously consolidate the competitive strength of world-class coal chemical bases.Editor/Min Jing
