In the early morning of July 2026, at Shijiazhuang International Land Port, a train loaded with 55 containers headed towards Liege, Belgium. This is the first direct China Europe freight train from Beijing Tianjin Hebei to Belgium, and also the 20th international route opened by land port. In just over twenty days, this train became a part of the entire first half of the year data -814 trains, a year-on-year increase of 42.06%, ranking first in North China and among the top in the country. This inland port is connecting the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region with the world through railway tracks.

20 routes, 7.1 billion goods value, 780000 tons of return journey

In the first half of the year, the cumulative transportation value of Shijiazhuang International Land Port exceeded 7.1 billion yuan, with over 80000 TEUs of goods shipped from here to various parts of Asia and Europe. The foreign trade market of Beijing Tianjin Hebei is the support: in the first half of the year, the regional import and export amounted to 2.58 trillion yuan, up 16.2%, including 1.37 trillion yuan for the countries jointly building the the Belt and Road.

The circuit layout is also continuously encrypted. The newly added Liege Express in July, relying on Liege's transit advantage as a European freight hub, can achieve one-time operation and multi country distribution, covering countries such as Germany, the Netherlands, and France. So far, 13 routes including Moscow, Minsk, Warsaw, Hamburg, Belgrade, and Liege have been regularly operated in the European direction of land ports.

The return channel is also expanding. In the first half of the year, a total of 780000 tons of grain, oil, feed, agricultural materials, fertilizers, and industrial raw materials were imported by the return trains, with a value of 3.04 billion yuan. The direct supply of bulk raw materials such as feed wheat flour, potassium fertilizer, and non-ferrous metals to the Beijing Tianjin Hebei industrial cluster has accelerated the gathering of port related industrial projects such as grain collection and transportation, grain and oil feed, and fertilizer. The bidirectional logic of going back and forth

On the export manifest, traditional advantageous products such as biomedicine, bearings, and wire mesh have steadily increased in volume, while high value-added new faces such as new energy vehicles and photovoltaic modules have emerged. A virtuous cycle of returning and double loading has been formed.
