Patrushev, Assistant to the Russian President and Chairman of the Maritime Council, held working talks with Deridi, Secretary General of the Algerian Ministry of Interior, Local Administration and Transport, in Algiers. The focus of this meeting is to discuss potential bilateral projects related to maritime logistics and safe navigation in the Mediterranean.

Both sides also exchanged views on the follow-up communication between the maritime authorities, relevant institutions, and enterprises of the two countries, and promoted the establishment of normalized contacts among various market entities. This dialogue lays the foundation for exploring opportunities for maritime cooperation between the two countries, maintaining the safety of Mediterranean waterway passage, and consolidating practical cooperation in the bilateral maritime field.Editor/Min Jing
