New Uzbekistan Railway Opens with China’s CR200J Trains

The new railway line has been officially completed and opened to traffic. The President of Uzbekistan conducted on-site inspections and traveled on domestically produced high-speed trains. The new trains and smooth routes inject new momentum into the development of local cultural and tourism transportation.

New Line Convenience and Efficiency Enhancement

The airport railway line put into operation this time has a total length of 11 kilometers, with a total investment of about 225 billion Sums. It is equipped with supporting infrastructure such as station bridges and 25 culverts, connecting the transportation network between Ulgench International Airport and Shiva. After the line was put into operation, the travel time between the two places was shortened from 80 minutes to 40 minutes, greatly improving travel efficiency. This route can serve approximately 650000 domestic and foreign tourists annually, while driving nearly 30 new job opportunities, benefiting people's livelihoods and the cultural and tourism industry. Domestic high-speed trains make their debut

The line is fully equipped with Chinese CR200J high-speed trains, which are composed of 6 cars and have a maximum passenger capacity of about 400 people. The maximum operating speed can reach 160 kilometers per hour. The carriage is equipped with VIP business and economy class three seats, free network charging interface and temperature control system, and standardized barrier free facilities, balancing comfort and practicality, fully demonstrating the strong strength of China's rail transit equipment and continuously deepening practical cooperation between China and Ukraine.Editor/Min Jing
