On August 28, 2026, in Tori County, Tacheng, Xinjiang, the sun was scorching on the Gobi Desert. In a smart computing room covering tens of thousands of square meters, thousands of server indicator lights were flashing synchronously. With the person in charge of Zhongneng Intelligent Computing Cloud (Xinjiang) Technology Co., Ltd. pressing the start button, the first phase of the 2000P high-performance domestic computing power cluster has been officially put into operation. Less than a year from signing the contract to production, this long dormant desert has now become a digital hub with surging computing power.

Domestic computing power with full stack independent controllability

The 2000P computing power project put into operation this time adopts a domestic hardware system throughout, completely eliminating external dependence. The computing power cluster can support scenarios such as large-scale AI training, industrial inference, government enterprise transformation, and scientific research simulation, providing low-carbon green computing power services to the whole Xinjiang and the whole country. The total investment of the project is 900 million yuan, and six standardized intelligent computing room units will be built to high standards. A new prefabricated FDC scheme will be adopted and supported by multiple redundant architectures to achieve uninterrupted and stable operation 24/7.
