Relying on the trend of digital industry development, Uzbekistan continues to increase its layout in the field of artificial intelligence. President Mirziyoyev listened to the report on industrial development and finalized the three core development directions of computing power, applications, and talent, comprehensively promoting the scale and normalization of the country's artificial intelligence industry and consolidating the foundation of digital development.

Consolidate the foundation of computing power
At present, the international ranking of artificial intelligence readiness in Uzbekistan has risen by 25 places, ranking 62nd in the world. The country has set clear development goals for 2030, ranking among the top 50 in the world, achieving a scale of 1.5 billion US dollars in artificial intelligence software and services, and implementing more than 200 new projects. Previously, the supercomputer equipped with Nvidia technology was officially put into operation, ranking 321st in the world in terms of computing power. In one month of operation, the cluster load reached 90%. The existing computing power facilities are worth 24 million US dollars, and an additional 70 million US dollars is planned for expansion and upgrading. At the same time, we will work with foreign investment to build a regional data center.

Expand application scenarios
Continuously integrating government information resources locally, building standardized industry datasets, and paving the way for the implementation of artificial intelligence. The official plan is to have over 100 AI application projects in the economic and social fields by the end of 2026, covering multiple key industries such as healthcare, energy, and transportation. Relying on local IT parks, we have linked 300 settled enterprises and more than 20 research laboratories to tackle technology implementation. This year, the scale of related industry services has reached 2 trillion Su Mu, with an export value of 160 million US dollars. At the same time, we have deepened cross-border technology cooperation by relying on international organizational resources.
