On September 7, 2026, Ambassador to Zimbabwe Zhou Ding went to Mugabe International Airport to bid farewell to Vice President Tswanja of Zimbabwe, who was on his way to China.

Ambassador Zhou stated that His Excellency the Vice President was invited to visit China to attend the Global Service Trade Summit, Xiong'an Digital Trade Innovation and Development Conference, and to visit relevant places, enterprises, and institutions in China, demonstrating the deep friendship and high-level political mutual trust between China and Tianjin. He believes that this visit will promote the implementation of the important consensus reached between the Chinese President and President Mnangagwa, and inject new impetus into deepening China Tianjin trade and investment cooperation.
