From the streets and alleys of the ancient city of Tashkent to the Silk Road ruins in Khwarezm, a power transmission spanning the hinterland of Uzbekistan is unfolding. When the charging stations of Southern Power Grid encounter the transformation of the largest automobile market in Central Asia, the collision between Chinese technology and Ukrainian manufacturing not only creates a charging network, but also a new possibility for localizing the electric vehicle industry chain.

Recently, China Southern Power Grid Industry Development Group held talks with the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan to discuss plans for building a modern electric vehicle charging network along the Tashkent to Khwarezm line. Both sides discussed the detailed plan for the construction of the charging station network along the Tashkent Khwarezm route. At the same time, the talks also discussed the feasibility of producing charging equipment on-site in Uzbekistan, building supporting service facilities, and implementing related investment projects.
