Joining hands with CRRC

CRRC is one of the key partners that Uzbekistan Railway Company is negotiating with this time. Both sides discussed the construction of a locomotive maintenance service center in Uzbekistan and exchanged ideas on cooperation in modern railway freight car production and localized manufacturing. Both sides also reviewed the manufacturing project of a new type of variable gauge freight car, as well as related matters such as new train maintenance and locomotive procurement, injecting new content into the equipment cooperation between China and Ukraine railways.

Among Korean companies' high-speed trains

Uzbekistan Railway Company is in talks with Hyundai Rotem of South Korea to purchase 8 additional high-speed trains. The specific composition, number of seats, and technical parameters will be determined in the subsequent technical stage. Both parties have reached relevant cooperation arrangements, including introducing VIP carriages and capsule seats on the new high-speed train to further enhance passenger comfort, and modernizing the last two carriages of the currently operating high-speed train.
