At the AI&Digital Bridge 2026 International Forum, a cross-border scientific research cooperation signing ceremony was held as scheduled. Jointly establish three major joint research and development centers

The three documents signed this time correspond to the construction of three joint research and development centers, with cooperation partners covering top universities of Chinese engineering enterprises and science and technology innovation enterprises. The entire signing belongs to the activities related to the digitalization and artificial intelligence year in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan undertakes important coordination functions, links international technology partners of scientific research institutions and various industry organizations, and coordinates the implementation of various initiatives. The Industry Technical Capability Center is responsible for supporting special technical cooperation, promoting the completion of pilot testing and practical implementation of various application solutions, and bridging the key link for scientific research achievements to enter the industrial market.

Deeply cultivate research on renewable energy

Electric Power China Chengdu Engineering Co., Ltd. is involved in building a joint research and development center for alternative and renewable energy, located at Ali Farabi Kazakh National University. The center focuses on conducting various applied research, focusing on the development and practical implementation of innovative energy technologies, synchronously promoting the implementation of cross-border joint science and technology projects, and systematically carrying out professional and technical talent training work. Based on the scientific research background of universities in Kazakhstan and the practical experience of Chinese engineering, both sides hope to explore new energy technology paths that are suitable for Kazakhstan's local conditions, reserve technical strength for the upgrading of the local green energy industry, and continue the long-standing foundation of energy cooperation between the two countries.

Layout AI and digital storage

The Harbin China Artificial Intelligence Application Research and Development Center is jointly built by Fudan University and also located at Ali Farabi Kazakh National University. Dominor Partners Limited participates in the project operation as a strategic industry partner. The research and development direction focuses on artificial intelligence solutions, targeting key economic sectors such as energy industry, oil and gas transportation, completing technology development, adaptation testing, and implementation work, and transforming traditional industries in Kazakhstan with intelligent technology. The Joint Research and Development Center for Digital Data Storage Technology is jointly built by Shenzhen Yijie Innovation Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on application research and development, promoting the implementation of data storage technology research and development, organizing cross-border scientific research projects, and filling the gaps in the capabilities of professional talents in the field of modern digital infrastructure.
