From the morning bell in Chang'an to the streets and alleys of Hanoi, a new page has been opened in the friendship between mountains and rivers. The President of the Vietnamese National Assembly walked into Shaanxi, a red walled ancient capital where local cooperation, railways, and culture were put on the table together. Vietnam Shaanxi cooperation was like an old friend continuing tea, with the next journey of shared destiny between China and Vietnam hidden in the heat. Vietnamese National Assembly President Chen Qingmin is on an official visit to China and co chairs the second meeting of the Joint Committee of the National Assemblies of Vietnam and China. On October 13, 2026, Chen Qingmin met with Zhao Yide, Secretary of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee, in Xi'an.

Zhao Yide welcomes the Vietnamese delegation. He stated that this visit reflects Vietnam's emphasis on cooperation between Vietnam and Shaanxi, as well as the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Vietnam. Zhao Yide introduced the development situation of Shaanxi and reviewed the historical friendship of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Shaanxi. Shaanxi will implement the high-level consensus between the two countries, deepen local exchanges and cooperation with Vietnam, and help build a community with a shared future between China and Vietnam.
