The Southeast Asian aluminum resource industry chain continues to expand, and large-scale alumina processing projects are being implemented and promoted. Domestic engineering enterprises rely on mature technology and overseas project accumulation to continuously cultivate the local non-ferrous infrastructure market, injecting momentum into regional mining industrialization.

Pingfu project successfully won the bid

Chinalco International announced that it has won the EPC project for the annual production of 2.4 million tons of alumina in Pingfu, Vietnam, with a bid amount of approximately 833 million US dollars, equivalent to 5.595 billion yuan, and a construction period of 27 months. The project will undertake design, supply, construction, commissioning, and personnel training. The two parties have not yet signed a formal contract, and the final content shall be subject to the formal contract. The project is an important part of the integrated development of local bauxite mines, and the preliminary planning is basically consistent with the information of this bidding.
