The morning light spreads over the Republic Photovoltaic Ocean, and the silicon wafers silently devour the first ray of sunlight on the plateau. 150 kilometers away, the giant screen of Xining Central Control Center suddenly lit up, and the data flow surged. An energy dispatch revolution spanning Qinghai without any operation and maintenance personnel is quietly reshaping the energy pulse of the thousand mile Gobi Desert.

Coordinate the development of new energy stations across the entire region

In the photovoltaic industry park, connected photovoltaic panels absorb light energy and continuously produce clean electricity to be transmitted to various places. The dispatch center for coordinating this energy conversion work is located 150 kilometers away at the Xining New Energy Control Center. The giant large screen refreshes the real-time operation information of more than 60 new energy stations of Huanghe Company, and various indicators such as fan speed, photovoltaic output, and box transformer temperature are clear at a glance.

As of the end of June 2026, Huanghe Company has completed the functional transfer of the first batch of 24 new energy stations in Hainan, Haixi, Golmud and other subsidiaries, removed on-site duty personnel from the stations, and fully achieved unmanned operation; The remaining 18 Phase II stations will switch to unmanned and few person operation mode by the end of September 2026.

Innovative on-site operation and maintenance new model

For many years, Yellow River Company has closely adhered to the group's balanced growth and development strategy, synchronized the revitalization of existing projects, laid out high-quality new production capacity, relied on digital and intelligent upgrades, promoted the iteration of new energy stations from less manned to fully unmanned, and built an integrated management system of remote centralized monitoring and on-site professional operation and maintenance.

The current centralized control platform is connected to 118 new energy stations with a total installed capacity of 14 gigawatts. All self owned stations are included in centralized monitoring, with over 20 million monitoring points collected. The proportion of industrial data platform access is 98.7%, and the data accuracy is 96.69%. Dong Defu, the director of the centralized control operation room, introduced that in response to the on-site control difficulties caused by unmanned operation, the enterprise has launched a differentiated fault handling plan, which combines manual regular inspections and drone inspections in remote transformer areas; Each unmanned station is equipped with emergency points, complete with materials and communication equipment, to ensure rapid disposal of dangerous situations.

The first batch of operation and maintenance personnel for the four smart stations were reduced from 31 to 22, resulting in a 30% decrease in manpower input per megawatt and a 43.28% increase in labor productivity; The availability rate of wind power equipment has increased to 97.35%, and the line fault loss has been reduced from 0.31% to 0.1%. The accuracy rate of drone fault recognition in the Gonghe Photovoltaic Park exceeds 98%. With the help of AI visual recognition, the inspection time for a single wind turbine at Mohe Wind Farm has been reduced from 40 minutes to 15 minutes. The Yellow River Company's promotion of unmanned operation is not simply about reducing on-site personnel, but relying on intelligent transformation to synchronously compress operating costs, strengthen safety control, and significantly improve the quality and efficiency of station operations.

Assist in the implementation of the dual carbon strategy

Data shows that in the first half of 2026, Yellow River Company implemented a new energy equipment evaluation and diagnosis mechanism, which enables real-time monitoring, accurate diagnosis, and rapid repair of equipment hazards. It is expected to recover approximately 800 million kilowatt hours of electricity generation, with a year-on-year increase of 12.11% in photovoltaic power generation. Yang Jun, the head of the Industrial Park Project Department of Hainan Branch, stated that relying on provincial centralized control, unified maintenance and intelligent upgrading in each area, the regional unit kilowatt operation and maintenance cost has decreased by nearly 60% year-on-year. The maintenance team is concentrated, and preventive maintenance of equipment can be carried out regularly, significantly enhancing the stable operation ability of equipment. Huanghe Company has completed the innovation of new energy operation and maintenance mode, bidding farewell to the traditional mode of manual on-site inspection and independent control of each station, and entering a new stage of digital intelligent unified scheduling and collaborative operation and maintenance. Relying on the construction of smart stations, enterprises are steadily implementing the group's balanced growth deployment, adding momentum to the achievement of the national dual carbon goals.Editor/Gong Ziwei
