The project feasibility study and pre-approval technical services were announced as the winning bidder candidates. This means that the coal-fired power project has entered an accelerated promotion period, with approval and commencement imminent. The bidding results are in line with expectations, with China Energy Engineering's design institute leading the way to win, and China Energy Engineering Shanxi Institute winning the bid at a low price and ranking as the first candidate.

Clear project positioning strategy

The project is located in the core area of Hedong Coalfield in Baode County, Xinzhou. It plans to construct two 1000MW ultra supercritical coal-fired units with a total installed capacity of 2 million kilowatts. Relying on the pithead coal electricity joint venture model, we aim to achieve deep integration of the coal electricity industry chain and build a low-cost, stable operation, and strong risk resistant energy supply system. The project is led by Huadian Xinzhou New Energy Company and is an important part of Huadian Group's integrated layout of wind, solar, thermal and storage in Shanxi.
