It has been two months since the implementation of the Iran US Memorandum of Understanding, but there have been ongoing conflicts between the US and Iran, and disputes over the agreement continue to ferment. Several senior officials in Iran have made concentrated statements, interpreting this controversial diplomatic document positively and responding to many doubts from the outside world.

On the 16th local time, Iranian President Pezehezhian publicly stated in Tehran that the Iran US Memorandum of Understanding is a diplomatic achievement that upholds the country's dignity and strength, and is not a compromise or concession. This document has been thoroughly discussed and formulated by domestic experts, and has sufficient rationality and professionalism.

On August 15, 20265, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Calibaf, also affirmed the value of this document, calling it a major victory for Iran's diplomacy and demonstrating Iran's success in thwarting various schemes of external hostile forces. It is reported that both parties announced the memorandum text on June 17, 2026, agreeing to negotiate and finalize the final agreement within 60 days. However, from July 7th to 8th, the United States and Iran launched consecutive military confrontations, and the US declared the end of the agreement, while the Iranian side deemed the US actions to be a serious breach of contract.Editor/Min Jing
