China Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation continues to deepen, and the demand for cross-border financial services continues to rise. Targeting the core market in Central Asia, CCB actively lays out overseas branches to help steadily promote bilateral economic and trade cooperation and project cooperation.

Recently, the Kazakhstan Financial Market Supervision and Development Agency met with CCB Chairman Zhang Jinliang to explore the feasibility of China Construction Bank establishing a subsidiary bank in the local area, and reached a willingness to deepen financial cooperation and expand investment linkage. Currently, there are three Chinese funded banks operating in Kazakhstan.

With the increase of investment projects in infrastructure, energy, and manufacturing industries between China and Kazakhstan, the demand for local cross-border settlement and long-term project financing continues to expand.
