Located on the plain of the province, a super logistics port integrating production, warehousing, and communication has emerged, stitching together Cambodia's scattered industries in an integrated mode and paving a new artery for this land to access the global market.

Benchmark cooperation shaping

On August 31, 2026, the Phnom Penh logistics industrial complex jointly developed by Singapore's YCH Group and Cambodia's Sear Brothers Investments officially laid the foundation and started construction in the province of Peranakan. Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Hun Mani attended the ceremony on behalf of the Prime Minister. The project has a total investment of 300 million US dollars and covers an area of 132 hectares. It is an inland comprehensive special zone that integrates production, warehousing, customs, and intermodal transportation. It is also a landmark economic and trade project of the more than 60 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Singapore and Cambodia.

Highly integrated comprehensive layout function

The project is located in Chipamong County, Singapore, and is jointly developed and operated by a leading Singaporean supply chain enterprise and a local Cambodian enterprise. Hong Mani stated that the implementation of the project confirms the continuous optimization of Cambodia's business environment and the continued attraction of high-quality foreign investment. Unlike ordinary logistics parks, this project is positioned as an inland comprehensive special zone, helping local manufacturing enterprises to open up domestic and foreign trade circulation channels.

The Singapore Ambassador to Cambodia commented that this project is a milestone in cooperation between the two countries, and will leverage Singapore's supply chain advantages to enhance Cambodia's position in the Asia Pacific industrial chain. The park realizes a closed-loop one-stop service, equipped with standard factory buildings, modern warehouses, park customs service points, and a complete transportation scheduling system, which can complete the entire process of production, inventory, customs declaration, and shipment nearby. The integrated model significantly reduces the cost of cross regional services for enterprises, improves supply chain efficiency, and effectively solves the industry shortcomings of scattered logistics and cumbersome processes in Cambodia.

Unleashing diverse values

The province is located adjacent to Phnom Penh and is situated on a key passage leading to Sihanouk Port, with significant geographical advantages. In the past, Cambodia's industries and logistics were concentrated in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville. With the rise in land prices in Phnom Penh, a large number of enterprises have overflowed, and the province where they reside has become the core receiving area. Currently, the local manufacturing industry is growing rapidly, but factories, warehouses, and customs clearance points are scattered, resulting in long delivery times and high logistics costs. This super port will create an inland waterless port model, allowing enterprises to complete customs clearance in the inland, link with the West Port to go global, establish a complete multimodal transport chain, and fill the gaps in national logistics.

The project will bring about three major industrial changes: optimizing enterprise supply chain costs and enhancing export competitiveness; Introduce a mature logistics management system in Singapore to enhance the level of the local industry; Drive the transformation of the province from being dominated by agriculture to a peripheral industrial logistics hub in Phnom Penh. At present, the project has just started laying the foundation, and the supporting facilities and policy details are still in the implementation stage.
